Welcome to Bayview Education Centre!

At Bayview Education Centre, we believe in nurturing young minds from pre-primary all the way to Grade 8. With a vibrant community of 287 students, our school is a place where learning comes alive!

Our Focus on Success

Language Programs

For our older students in Grades 4 to 8, we offer exciting Core French and Core Gaelic language programs. Learning a new language opens up a world of opportunities!

Sports and Activities

At Bayview, we believe in the power of play and teamwork. That's why we offer a variety of sports teams including:

• Cross Country
• Volleyball
• Basketball
• Badminton
• Track and Field
• Softball

We also have a Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) and a student council, giving our students a voice and a chance to make a difference. Plus, after school, kids can enjoy some unstructured free play time to unwind and have fun!

Nature and Learning

Nestled in the beautiful town of Port Hood, our school boasts a 1km hiking trail right on the grounds, perfect for exploring nature. We also have an outdoor classroom and a school garden, where students can learn about the environment and grow their own plants.
