Calgary Nature Kindergarten

Welcome to Calgary Nature Kindergarten!

At Calgary Nature Kindergarten, we believe that learning should be an adventure! Our publicly funded program is designed to follow the Alberta Education Kindergarten curriculum, ensuring that your child receives a quality education while having fun.

Program Details:

• Full Day Program: 9 AM - 3 PM
• Schedule: 2 days a week, plus alternating Fridays

Our unique approach to education is inspired by two wonderful philosophies: the Reggio Emilia approach and the Forest & Nature School ethos. This means that we focus on creating a rich, engaging environment where children can explore, discover, and learn through play.

Learning in Nature:

Children and staff spend most of their day outside, surrounded by the beauty of nature. We believe that the great outdoors is the best classroom! In case of extreme weather, we have a cozy indoor classroom where we can continue our projects and activities.

• Rosemont Community Hall/Confederation Park
• Red Deer Lake United Church/Lloyd Park
