Nestled in the heart of Old Strathcona, Edmonton, Springhill Community Preschool has been a cherished part of our community since 1970. As a licensed, non-profit, cooperative preschool, we are dedicated to providing a warm and nurturing environment for children aged 2 to 5.

At Springhill, we believe in the magic of "learning through play"! Our engaging activities spark children's natural curiosity and support their growth and development in a fun and exciting way.

What Makes Us Special?

• Parent-Managed: Our preschool is run by a caring board of directors made up of parents, ensuring that our community's values and needs are at the heart of everything we do.
• Intellidance® Program: We are proud to offer the Intellidance® program, led by a certified instructor. This unique program focuses on movement and dance, helping to enhance children's neural development and physical literacy while they have a blast!
• Healthy Snacks: We care about your child's nutrition! Our organic, nut-free snack program provides delicious and healthy snacks that cover three important food groups, keeping our little ones energized and ready to learn.
• Volunteer Opportunities: While we don’t have parent duty days, we encourage parents to get involved through various volunteer roles, helping to create a vibrant community.
• Exciting Field Trips: Adventure awaits! We include field trip fees in our tuition, planning seven exciting field trips each year for every age group, allowing children to explore and learn outside the classroom.
• Summer Camp Fun: Our summer camp program is perfect for children aged 2 to 5, offering a fantastic way to keep the fun going during the warmer months!
