Nestled in the heart of Garraí Glas, Athenry, Children’s Language Development Preschool (CLDP) is a warm and inviting place where little ones aged 2 to 6 can thrive. Our preschool is dedicated to helping children develop their speech and language skills in a nurturing environment.

What We Offer

At CLDP, we understand that every child is unique. That’s why we provide early intervention for children who may face communication delays or disorders, including those diagnosed with Autism. Our program is partly funded by the Department of Education Home Tuition Scheme and the ECCE scheme or National Childcare Scheme, making it accessible for families.

Individual Attention

With a high tutor-to-child ratio of 1:2, we ensure that each child receives the personalized attention they deserve. Our caring team is here to support your child’s journey every step of the way.

Our Curriculum

Our engaging curriculum blends elements from:

  This diverse approach is designed to cater to different learning styles and needs. Our team of specialists, including a Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Behaviour Analyst, work together to create a holistic learning experience.

Skills for Life

At CLDP, we focus on more than just communication. We help children develop essential social skills and self-help skills, such as toileting and food programs. Our goal is to prepare them for a bright future!

Parent Involvement

We believe that parents are a vital part of the learning process. That’s why we encourage parent involvement through training and communication programs, ensuring that you are part of your child’s growth.

A Supportive Environment

Our preschool is thoughtfully designed to support children with communication challenges. We use helpful tools like PECS and LAMH to make learning fun and effective.
