Welcome to Le Cheile Community Childcare Facility!

At Le Cheile, we believe that every child deserves a nurturing and joyful environment to grow and learn. Our community-based childcare service is located in the heart of Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, and we proudly cater to children from 12 months to preschool age.

What We Offer:

• Comprehensive Care: We provide a warm and welcoming space for up to 210 children annually. Our facility includes:
  • Le Cheile
  • Sesame Early Years Specialist Day Service: This special program focuses on children with additional needs, supported by a caring multidisciplinary team.
  • Kiddie's Cove: An extension of Le Cheile, where we emphasize diversity and equality in our preschool services.

Our Approach:

We are dedicated to the holistic development of each child. Our play-based curriculum is thoughtfully linked to the Aistear and Síolta frameworks, ensuring that learning is both fun and meaningful.

Safe and Supportive Environment:

Le Cheile is managed by a voluntary board of directors, and we are proud to be registered with Túsla and a member of Early Childhood Ireland. Our facility is part-funded by DCYA and DCEDIY, allowing us to maintain excellent standards of care.

Age-Appropriate Rooms:

We have designed various rooms to cater to different age groups, including:

• Wobbler Room
• Toddler Room
• Cruiser Room
• Junior Preschool Room
• ECCE Preschool Rooms

Nourishing Meals:

At Le Cheile, we understand the importance of good nutrition. We provide hot meals and snacks to keep our little ones energized and happy throughout the day.

Support for Parents:

We also offer parents the opportunity to access the National Childcare Scheme for fee support, making quality childcare more accessible.
