Nestled in the heart of Shannonvale Complex on Old Cratloe Road in Limerick, Ireland, Naíonra na nÓg, also lovingly known as Once Upon A Time Montessori, is a delightful preschool and daycare that has been nurturing young minds since 2000. In 2015, we moved to our beautiful, custom-built premises, designed especially for our little learners.

At Naíonra na nÓg, we believe in providing a high-quality early years education that is recognized for its best practices. Our curriculum is inspired by the Reggio and Montessori methods, focusing on a child-centered and play-based approach. We are proud to be linked to Aistear, the national curriculum framework, and guided by Síolta, the national framework for quality.

We place a strong emphasis on the Irish language and culture, aiming to instill a love for them in our children from a young age. Our facility is equipped with:

• Five spacious classrooms
• Two sports halls for active play
• A sensory room for exploration and discovery
• A private garden where children can connect with nature

Our staff is not only qualified but also experienced and passionate about empowering children to pursue their own learning journeys. We offer the ECCE scheme, allowing children to enjoy free preschool years before they embark on their primary school adventure.
