Nestled between Swords and Donabate, just a stone's throw from the M1 motorway and Dublin Airport, Natural Start is a delightful sessional preschool service designed for little explorers aged 3 to 6 years. We are excited to offer a unique educational experience that focuses on the great outdoors, all while participating in the ECCE scheme.

Our Learning Philosophy

At Natural Start, we embrace a Montessori philosophy indoors, which means your child gets to choose their own activities! This approach not only nurtures their curiosity but also fosters a deep respect for the environment around them.

Outdoor Adventures

Did you know that 60-90% of our day is spent outside? Our large, well-equipped natural setting is perfect for children to run, play, and learn. Here, they can enhance their physical fitness, develop social skills, and gain independence through engaging activities that improve their gross motor skills and encourage social interactions.

Forest School Fun

We also incorporate a Forest School model, where children lead their own play-based learning adventures in nature. This hands-on approach allows them to explore, discover, and connect with the world around them.

At Natural Start, we believe in creating a supportive environment that helps children learn about emotional regulation and problem-solving. Our focus is on building resilience and respect among peers, ensuring that every child feels valued and understood.
