Welcome to The Cottage Kids Playschool!

Nestled on the beautiful outskirts of Lusk Village, The Cottage Kids Playschool has been a cherished part of the community since 1997. We proudly serve the greater Lusk area, providing a warm and nurturing environment for little ones aged 2 years and 8 months to 5 years and 6 months.

Our Learning Environment

Our playschool is open for 10 months a year, from September to June, perfectly aligning with the national school calendar. We are situated on a spacious site that features both indoor and outdoor classrooms, along with a large outdoor play area that overlooks a charming duck pond. This setting allows children to explore, play, and learn in a safe and engaging atmosphere.

Curriculum and Development

At The Cottage Kids Playschool, we believe in fostering a love for learning through play. Our curriculum is inspired by High/Scope, Montessori, and an Emergent approach, focusing on key areas such as:

• Social and emotional development
• Language skills
• Early math
• Pre-literacy

We are proud to offer the ECCE scheme for eligible children, and we require deposits to secure a place in our wonderful community.

Our commitment to excellence has not gone unnoticed! We have been honored with 12 awards from Early Childhood Ireland, establishing us as a leading pre-school service in Lusk. Additionally, we hold a high-quality rating from the Siolta Quality Assurance Programme and have been validated by Healthy Ireland Smart Start.
