Welcome to Ajuda Basic School! We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for preschool and daycare children. Our focus is on education, community involvement, and environmental awareness.

Programs and Projects

At Ajuda Basic School, we participate in various programs that promote sustainability and environmental education:

• Geração Depositrão Project: In partnership with ABAE and ERP Portugal, we collect electronic waste to help protect our planet.
• Eco-Escolas and Escola Azul Projects: These initiatives encourage students to learn about and engage in environmental protection.
• STEAM Project: We develop skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through fun and interactive activities.

Activities

We organize a variety of activities throughout the year to engage our students and raise awareness:

• First Day of Classes: We kick off the school year with a mural activity that encourages creativity.
• Awareness Days: We celebrate important days such as World Oceans Day and National Breast Cancer Prevention Day.
• Community Campaigns:
  • "Dê uma Tampa à Indiferença": A campaign to collect plastic bottle caps for orthopedic materials.
  • "Papel por Alimentos": A campaign that promotes recycling paper in exchange for food donations.

• Morning: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• Afternoon: 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM
