At Escola Básica Conde de Ferreira, we take pride in our rich history and vibrant community. Originally known as Liceu de Oeiras, our school has been a cornerstone of education since it opened its doors on October 18, 1952. In 1975, we were honored to be renamed after the esteemed Professor José Sebastião e Silva, a celebrated Portuguese mathematician and educator.

On June 28, 2012, we became the headquarters of the Agrupamento de Escolas de São Julião da Barra, further strengthening our commitment to providing quality education.
