At Escola Básica Gomes Freire de Andrade, we are proud to be a vibrant part of our community! Our school has a rich history, having been established on October 18, 1952. Originally known as Liceu de Oeiras, we became the headquarters of the Agrupamento de Escolas de São Julião da Barra on June 28, 2012. In 1975, we were renamed to honor the esteemed Professor José Sebastião e Silva, a celebrated Portuguese mathematician and educator who has left a lasting impact on our school.
