Services Offered

Jardim de Infância O Sonho provides a variety of services for children of different ages:

1. Vale Flor (Berçário e Creche) - For children from 0 months to 3 years.
2. CATL (Centro Actividades de Tempos Livres) - For children aged 6 to 12 years.
3. Creche Familiar - For children from 4 months to 3 years, established in 1979.
4. Apoio Social - Social support for disadvantaged families (Loja Social).
5. Pré-Escolar - For children aged 3 to 6 years.
6. RSI (Gabinete de Rendimento Social de Inserção) - Social support services.

Extra Services

• Extra Curricular Activities: Gymnastics, Computer Science, Robotics, Dance, and more.
• School Transport: Available at the beginning and end of the day.
• Extended Hours: Open from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Staffing

Each classroom is staffed with one Educator and one Assistant to ensure personalized attention for every child.

Management

The school is managed by a Board with periodic elections, which includes a Fiscal Council and General Assembly.

Target Audience

Jardim de Infância O Sonho welcomes children from various socio-economic backgrounds. Financial support is managed under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity.

Community Engagement

The school actively participates in community events, such as:

• Dia do Mágico celebrated on January 31st.
• Campaigns for collecting blankets and warm clothing.
• Music month celebrations organized by the Gabinete de RSI.
