Welcome to Hilltop Nursery School!

Founded in 1951, Hilltop Nursery School has been a cherished part of the community for over 70 years! Nestled in the vibrant Silver Lake/Echo Park area of Los Angeles, our school is a licensed parent-participation cooperative preschool. This means that we work hand-in-hand with parents to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Our 3,000-square-foot building is specially designed for preschoolers, featuring plenty of outdoor space for exploration and play. At Hilltop, we believe that play-based learning is the best way for young minds to grow. Children learn through fun activities that spark their curiosity and creativity.

We offer a variety of programs to fit the needs of busy families, including part-time, full-time, and extended-day options. Our goal is to provide high-quality child care and early education to a diverse range of working families.

As a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn and play with their peers. To support this mission, we offer a scholarship fund that helps maintain socioeconomic diversity within our school community.
