At the University United Methodist Child Development Center (UUMCDC), we believe that every child deserves a warm and welcoming place to grow and learn. Our center is a non-religious child care facility that provides a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for children from birth to age twelve.

Our Approach to Learning

We know that children thrive in small groups, so we prioritize low ratios to ensure that each child receives the attention they deserve. Our activities are designed to be developmentally appropriate, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace. We also focus on continuity of care through our care groups, helping children build strong relationships with their caregivers and peers.

A Curriculum That Nurtures

Our curriculum is built on the principles of anti-bias education, which means we celebrate diversity and promote understanding among all children. We nurture the emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of each child through:
