Welcome to Atitjere Crèche!

Atitjere Crèche is a warm and welcoming childcare facility dedicated to providing quality Early Learning and Preschool programs for our little ones aged 0-3 years. Nestled in the beautiful Harts Range, traditionally known as Atitjere, we are located about 200 kilometers east of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, right along the scenic Plenty Highway.

Our Community

We proudly serve around 400 local Aboriginal families, and our team is made up of one passionate local Preschool teacher and four dedicated staff members, all of whom hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education. Our staff is committed to creating a culturally rich environment for the children, weaving traditional language and practices into everything we do.

Care and Support

We understand that every family has unique needs, which is why we provide morning tea, lunch, nappies, and wipes for all families who use our services. We also offer a special READY for SCHOOL preschool program that focuses on investigation, exploration, and discovery, using both the NT preschool curriculum and NT Maths games to prepare your child for their next big adventure.

Affordable and Accessible

While we do charge fees for each day a child is booked in, we want to make sure that every child has the opportunity to attend. That’s why all children at Atitjere Crèche are eligible for Government assistance through the Child Care Subsidy. Families simply need to complete an online assessment and provide their Centrelink Customer Reference Numbers (CRN) to find out their eligibility and subsidy amount.
