Welcome to Leonora District High School!

Nestled in the heart of Western Australia, Leonora District High School is a special place where learning comes alive for about 100 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

What makes our school truly unique is our strong connection to the Aboriginal culture. We celebrate this rich heritage by creating a culturally responsive environment that welcomes everyone. Here, students not only learn in a supportive atmosphere but also have the opportunity to explore the Wongatha language, connecting with their roots and community.

In addition to language, we offer an exciting Two-Way Science program. This innovative approach allows students to engage with science in a way that respects and incorporates Aboriginal knowledge and perspectives, making learning both meaningful and fun!
