At the Woden Valley Early Learning Centre, we believe that every child deserves a joyful and enriching start to their learning journey. Our center is a nature-inspired haven where children aged 0 to 5 years can explore, play, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our Philosophy

We focus on holistic development, which means we care for the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. Our approach is rooted in nature-based and play-based learning, allowing children to discover the world around them through hands-on experiences. We encourage outdoor exploration, where little ones can connect with nature, learn about their environment, and develop a sense of wonder.

Community and Care

As a community-based non-profit center, we are proudly managed by a Parent Committee. This means that parents play an active role in shaping our center, ensuring that it meets the needs of our families. We believe in building strong relationships between children and educators, fostering a sense of belonging and trust.

Our Hours and Meals

We are open Monday to Friday, from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, making it convenient for families. Our center provides delicious meals that are cooked on-site, ensuring that your child enjoys healthy and nutritious food throughout the day.

Acknowledging Our Heritage

We also honor the traditional custodians of the land, the Ngoonawal and Ngambri people. Incorporating reconciliation into our educational philosophy is important to us, as we strive to create an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates our diverse heritage.
