Nestled in the heart of the West End neighborhood of Washington, D.C., Capital Kids DC is more than just a preschool; it’s a warm and welcoming educational childcare center where little ones thrive! With over 25 years of experience, we pride ourselves on providing nurturing care that feels just like home.

At Capital Kids DC, we believe in the power of play! That’s why we use the Experience Curriculum, a fun and engaging, research-backed approach that encourages children to learn through exploration and creativity. Our family-owned and operated center offers both full-time and part-time care for children from infants all the way through Pre-K.

Our Hours

We’re here for you and your little ones from 7:30 am to 6 pm, making it easy for busy families to find the right fit.

We focus on creating a strong sense of community, where every child feels valued and loved. Our unique approach includes taking advantage of our beautiful city, using Washington, D.C. as our classroom! We love going on exciting field trips to local museums, parks, and other wonderful places, allowing children to learn about the world around them in a hands-on way.
