Welcome to Katherine A. Cook Elementary School!

Established in 1974, our school is named in honor of the beloved music teacher, Katherine A. Cook. We are proud to be a part of the Austin Independent School District, where we believe that every child deserves a bright future.

At Cook Elementary, we know that daily attendance is key to success, and we encourage our students to make the most of every school day. We also offer a fantastic dual language program, helping our students become bilingual and culturally aware.

We love our community and welcome everyone to get involved! There are plenty of opportunities for sponsorships and volunteering, so you can be a part of our school family.
