Welcome to Mission Bay Montessori Academy!

Nestled in the beautiful city of San Diego, CA, Mission Bay Montessori Academy (MBMA) has been a nurturing place for young minds since 1968. We proudly offer engaging programs for children from Preschool through 6th grade, ensuring a joyful and enriching learning experience for every child.

Our school year runs for 10 months, from August to June, and we also have a fun-filled Summer Program to keep the learning going all year round!

At MBMA, we embrace the Montessori Method, which focuses on helping children become capable, self-directed, and independent learners. Each classroom is a treasure trove of materials designed to spark curiosity and interest. Our carefully arranged resources present concepts in a thoughtful sequence, making learning both exciting and effective.
