To help our students navigate challenges, we use Kelso's Choice, a fun and engaging way to learn about conflict resolution. This program equips our children with essential life skills that they will carry with them as they grow.

Reading and Literacy

Reading is a big deal at North Star! Our active library program, supported by the wonderful Friends of the Library, ensures that every child has access to a world of books. We prioritize literacy because we know that reading opens doors to endless possibilities.

Parent Involvement

We love when parents get involved in their child's education! We provide resources like ParentVue, which allows you to track your child's academic progress easily. Plus, there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer, especially in our library, where your help can make a big difference.

Safety First

The safety of our students is our top priority. We have detailed protocols in place for student pick-up, ensuring that every child is safe and sound. Additionally, we maintain a strict cell phone policy to minimize distractions and keep our focus on learning.
