Established in 1987, Pleasant Hill Preschool is a cherished part of the Steele Creek Presbyterian Church community in Charlotte, NC. Here, we create a warm and inviting environment where little ones can learn and grow together.

Our Fun-Filled Curriculum

At Pleasant Hill, we believe in learning through play! Our theme-based curriculum is designed for toddlers to pre-K, and it includes a variety of exciting activities:

• Math and Science: Exploring the world around us!
• Handwriting: Getting those little fingers ready for writing.
• Music and Dance: Moving to the rhythm and expressing ourselves.
• Art: Unleashing creativity with colors and crafts.
• Dramatic Play: Imagining and acting out stories.

We focus on the social, emotional, academic, and physical development of each child, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and the joy of friendship.

Special Activities and Classes

To make learning even more fun, we offer:

• Weekly Music and PlayBall classes
• Chapel Time for a little spiritual growth
• Snack and Lunch (with a special pizza day on Thursdays!)

A Year Full of Joy

Our school year runs from September to May, following the calendars of the Charlotte and Clover School Districts. We keep our class sizes small, with two caring teachers in each classroom, ensuring that every child gets the attention they deserve.

Throughout the year, we celebrate with exciting activities like:

• Pancakes and Pajama Day
• Fall and Spring Pictures
• End-of-Year Celebration
