Welcome to Tuscano Elementary School!

Tuscano Elementary School, proudly known as the home of the Jaguars, is a vibrant public elementary school nestled in the heart of southwestern Phoenix. We are delighted to serve around 700 bright and eager students from preschool all the way through fifth grade!

At Tuscano, we believe in the power of respect, responsibility, and results. Our mission is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality education that inspires a love for learning.

Our Focus on Reading

One of our key priorities is reading! We have an exciting reading challenge that encourages all our students to dive into the wonderful world of books. We want every child to discover the joy of reading and develop strong literacy skills.

Dress Code and Programs

To foster a sense of community and pride, we have a strict dress code policy that helps our students look their best every day. We also offer fantastic programs for our youngest learners, including preschool and Head Start programs, ensuring that every child has a great start to their educational journey.

School Day Schedule

For our preschool and kindergarten students, the school day runs from 7:50 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Thursdays, we wrap up a bit earlier at 1:15 p.m. This schedule allows our little Jaguars to enjoy a full day of learning and fun!

With a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:10, our dedicated educators are able to give each child the attention they deserve. We are committed to ensuring that every student feels supported and valued in our school community.
