Welcome to West Handley Elementary School!

Nestled in the heart of our community, West Handley Elementary School has been a place of learning and growth since it opened its doors in 1954. With 12 classrooms, a vibrant art room, a cozy kindergarten room, and a welcoming library, our school has always been a hub of creativity and knowledge.

A Journey Through Time

• In 1983, we took on a new role as the Professional Development Center for Staff Development, and later became home to the Alternative School.
• By 1994, we returned to our roots as an elementary school, ready to inspire a new generation of learners.
• In 2004, we expanded our horizons with a new wing, adding 10 more classrooms to accommodate our growing family of students.
