Welcome to Escola Básica de Alvide!

At Escola Básica de Alvide, we take pride in our rich history and vibrant learning environment. Our elementary school is housed in a charming century-old flat building, featuring seven spacious classrooms where creativity and curiosity come to life.

Our Facilities

Our Community

We have a close-knit community of 124 students across five classes. Our dedicated teaching staff includes:

• One Coordinator
• Five Full Professors
• One Educational Support Teacher
• One Itinerant Special Education Teacher

Supporting our teachers, we also have two operational assistants who help keep everything running smoothly.

Enrichment Activities

In partnership with the Alcabideche Parish Council, we offer exciting Curricular Enrichment Activities (AEC) that enhance our students' learning experiences.

Our Kindergarten

Located on the ground floor of a modern building right next to our historic elementary school, our kindergarten is a warm and welcoming space for our youngest learners.

• Cafeteria and Kitchen: A cozy spot where children can enjoy their meals.
• School Library: Located on the 1st floor, part of the school library network, it’s a treasure trove of stories waiting to be discovered.

Our kindergarten has one class led by a passionate Educator, supported by two assistants (CMC) who ensure every child feels cared for and engaged.
