Crianças e Companhia is a warm and inviting family-run daycare and preschool nestled in the beautiful Porto, Portugal, right in the charming area of Foz do Douro. Founded over 10 years ago, this special place was born from the dreams of a loving grandfather and brought to life by his dedicated daughter. Here, we believe in creating a nurturing and hopeful environment where children can thrive and make wonderful memories with their families.

Our Mission

At Crianças e Companhia, we aim to provide unique experiences that will stay with children and their families for a lifetime. We are proud to be a licensed daycare and preschool, welcoming little ones from 0 months to 6 years old.

Our Educational Approach

We follow the High-Scope curriculum model, which is all about hands-on learning. Our approach includes:

Our Daily Schedule

We are here for you from 8 AM to 7 PM, with extended hours available after 6 PM to accommodate busy families.

Healthy Meals

Nutrition is important to us! Our meals are prepared on-site by a nutritionist, following a carefully planned weekly menu that includes both meat and fish, focusing on healthy products to keep our little ones energized and happy.

Safe and Fun Environment

Our facility is equipped with age-appropriate furniture and materials, ensuring a safe and versatile space for children to explore and learn.
